A Milestone Achievement for Our Research Team
We are thrilled to announce that our team, led by ChM. Dr. Nazrizawati Ahmad Tajuddin from the Faculty of Applied Sciences (FSG), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, has successfully secured a significant international research grant under the International Research Grant (ISPF STFC-MYPAIR) initiative.
Our awarded project, titled “Electronic and Structural Transformation of Hydrogen and Oxygen Atoms on Biochar/Pd@Layered Double Hydroxide (BC/Pd@(M(II)1-x(M(III)x(OH)2)x+(An-)x/n·yH2O)) Interlayered Spacing“, will leverage cutting-edge facilities at the ISIS Neutron and Muon Source, UK, as part of the ISPF (ISIS-STFC) program.
This groundbreaking study aims to advance our understanding of hydrogen and oxygen interactions at the atomic level, potentially paving the way for innovations in catalysis, energy storage, and environmental remediation. Securing this grant with a total allocation of RM 152,000 underlines the recognition of our work’s significance on the international stage.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research & Innovation), Research management Centre (RMC, UiTM) and everyone at FSG for their unwavering support and encouragement.
This accomplishment reflects our collective hard work, dedication, and passion for pushing the boundaries of scientific discovery. Together, we continue striving for excellence and impactful research outcomes.
