Green Catalysis Group (GCG)
“Innovating Sustainable Solutions through Advanced Catalysis and Materials Science”
Welcome On Board
Welcome to the Green Catalysis Research Group, where we focus on innovative and sustainable solutions in the field of catalysis and materials science. Our multidisciplinary team is committed to advancing research that contributes to environmentally friendly and efficient chemical processes.
Our Research Focus
Our work primarily revolves around the development and application of Layered Double Hydroxides (LDHs), including binary and ternary LDH systems synthesized through novel alkali-free methods. These remarkable materials exhibit unique properties that make them highly versatile for various applications, including:
- Catalysis: Enhancing reactions in organic synthesis and biodiesel transesterification.
- Energy Storage: Acting as fillers in polymer electrolytes for battery technologies.
- Coatings: Used as dyes for kitchenware coatings.
The exceptional flexibility and functionality of LDHs enable us to explore their potential across diverse fields, aiming to contribute to green chemistry and sustainable technology.

Collaboration Opportunities
We are always open to exploring collaborative opportunities with researchers, industries, and institutions interested in advancing green and sustainable technologies. If our research aligns with your interests or if you see potential for collaboration, we would be delighted to hear from you!
Feel free to contact us and join us in pushing the boundaries of innovation in catalysis and material science.
