Participation at the BRIN-ISIS Muon & Neutron Workshop, Serpong, Indonesia

We’re excited to share that two members of our GCG Group — attended by Dr Nazriza and Nur Alyaa Kamal — were selected among only six participants from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) to attend the BRIN‑ISIS International Neutron and Muon Workshop held at Badan Riset dan Inovasi Nasional (BRIN), Serpong, Indonesia from 4 to 6 November 2025.

This workshop, co-organised by ISIS Neutron and Muon Source (UK) and BRIN, offered training on neutron and muon techniques — including theory, materials-study applications, and guidance on writing beamtime proposals for future experiments at ISIS.

We are grateful that our attendance was fully sponsored: accommodation on the BRIN campus, workshop fees, and all meals during the program were provided under the UK International Science Partnerships Fund (ISPF) award.

This experience gives us valuable exposure to advanced neutron/muon methods and connects our group with international researchers — an opportunity that will surely benefit our ongoing and future research endeavours.
